Panther Brewing Company of Westwood, MA expanded its participation in the Daytona Speedweeks beyond the Winston cup #73 with Ken Bouchard as the driver to include the Busch Grand National #47 of Andy Santerre and the Winston Cup #90 of Mike Wallace owned by Junie Donleavy.

This was the first time Panther Brewing Company had ever been a motor sport sponsor. The young company employed the Daytona 500 as a springboard to expanded distribution nationally. The beer is now available in 17 states with new points opening almost weekly by popular demand. Owners Dewey Parsons and Mike Herbert understand the value of NASCAR to help drive the sales of their beer. They also understand their fit into the “beer market”.
