Barkdoll Racing to run the Daytona 500 on February 14th. Concentrating on the Winston Cup Series high profile events, Barkdoll Racing has made the 500 in seven of the last 11 years. Working to refine the qualifying set-up, Bouchard, the 1988 Winston Cup Rookie of the Year, recorded a best lap of 182.726 mph. With Andy Petree engines under the hood for Speedweeks 1999, The Three Stooges Beer 500 effort is expecting some great racing. This will be the first time Panther Brewing Company has ever been a motor sport sponsor. The young company is planning to use the Daytona 500 as a springboard to expanded distribution nationally. The beer is now available in 17 states with new points opening almost weekly by popular demand. Owners Dewey Parsons and Mike Herbert understand the value of NASCAR to help drive the sales of their beer. They also understand their fit into the beer market. |
